About Me

Dental Surgeon by profession. Rinee Bindra had penchant for art ever since a very young age. While she Initially thought of becoming an animation artist. make-up artist tumed out to be something that destiny had in store for her and needless to say, she couldn't enjoyed it anymore!

Here's a sneak-peak into what motivated her to take the plunge as a make-up artist, latest make-up trends, beauty, and lots more.

Q. Provide us with an insider's view into your professional journey so far?

My journey can be summed up with the phrase "Jack of all trades, master of some".I wanted to be an animation artist at first, ended up being a Dental Surgeon from Genesis Dental College, Ferozpur. Although one cannot cage an artist for long inside his/her body so I decided to follow my heart and jumped into the runway of my dreams of being a Make-up artist.I got my professional make-up training from Shahid Naar, Amritsar. My creativity, quick learning skills and that fire in the belly gave me an edge over the competition. It,s my second year in the field and my brushes are already doing the magic .

Q. What were the major challenges that you had to face? How did you overcome them?

One of the major challenges I faced in my first year of this professional journey was to overcome the criticism from my well-wishers for shifting my career from a dentist to a make-up artist. Well, as they say, "Challenges make you discover things about yourself that you never really knew ". I discovered a lot new about myself and here I am following my dream

Q. What motivated you to take the plunge to become a make-Up artist What are some highlights ol your trallblaring Journey?

I always had that creative bug in me. I used to be the make-up artist for my friends in my college parties & events. Later when I got married, my husband motivated me to follow my passion instead of working as a dentist and there began my journey, empty order books were common in the beginning but I loved working so much that I started giving free makeovers to my relatives & friends who in tum got appreciated sO Well that l got many orders and it became my holy grail of motivation.

Q. How do you describe your signature look?

Three-pointers-bold eyes, light subtle base & natural-looking flawless skin. I always focus on my brides eyes with a very subtle base. I target on enhancing one's features without losing their identity .

Q. What is your definition of beauty? How does make- up contribute towards the same?

In this context, a woman who smiles is beautiful. Make-up enhances that chance to make you smile. It not only amplifies the facial beauty but increases her confidence in every task she does Simply, make-up uplifts her personality.

Q. What are some 2019 make-up trends to look out for?

Matched skin is the most trending look this year which is the same colour as your eye shadow blush and lips. And the second is a minimal fresh dewy clean look which is the way to go for brides to be in 2019.

Q. What is your definition of beauty? How does make- up contribute towards the same?

In this context, a woman who smiles is beautiful. Make-up enhances that chance to make you smile. It not only amplifies the facial beauty but increases her confidence in every task she does Simply, make-up uplifts her personality.

Q. One pro tip while applying make-up?

Always moisturize well before applying make-up as it acts as barrier for your skin from getting in ontact with your make-up products directly and well-moisturized skin is a great canvas for make-up application and make-up stays for a longer period.

Q. Do you feel that being a woman somehow made the Journey a little more difflicult?

I am obliged to my family that I didn't face this difficulty. I Strongly believe in women empowerment and desire that each woman should be free in all aspects of her life. I try to uplift woman wherever possible as this is the topmost priority, especially in rural areas of India which would act as a paradigm shift in the economic development of the nation.
